Welcome to Lifting up Zion!  We are glad that you’ve found us.  We want to briefly share with you who we are and how you can navigate this website.

Lifting up Zion, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was established in the state of Arkansas.  Akaya Kitchen received the vision for this ministry after becoming acquainted with a congregation of Messianic Jewish believers in Israel in 2011.

After marrying her husband, Lee Kitchen, in 2014, the couple established the ministry as a non-profit organization.

Lifting up Zion is a ministry that focuses on blessing the saints of Israel and praying for the salvation of Israel.

We bless the saints of Israel because we see in Scripture a consistent pattern of Gentile believers financially contributing to the saints in Israel.

We pray for the salvation of Israel because we know from Scripture that it is the will of God that all of Israel be saved.
