Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Romans 10:1 KJV

This ministry is consistent in its support of prayer for Israel’s salvation.  We believe that prayer is effective and that God hears the prayers of His people.

While we firmly believe that Israel will be saved, just as God promised, we also realize that faith without corresponding action is dead (James 2:17).  This is why we encourage believers to pray.

Beyond prayer, we also encourage another very important element to seeing God’s purposes fulfilled in His people.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’
Romans 10:14-15

  • How can the people of Israel call on the One in whom they haven’t believed?
  • How are they expected to believe if they haven’t heard of Him?
  • And how can we suppose they will hear unless someone is preaching to them?
  • And how can anyone go and preach to the people of Israel unless they are sent?

Lifting up Zion does not only pray for the salvation of Israel, this ministry also sends, by financially supporting, the people who are preaching the gospel.

But someone will say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
James 2:18

We should allow our faith to be shown by our works, as we financially contribute to the saints in Israel.

We exhort you, by the mercies of God, that you would not only pray for the salvation of Israel, but that you would also send the preachers of the gospel to them.

Your donation to Lifting up Zion goes to the front lines to financially support the Christian and Messianic Jewish congregations throughout Israel who are preaching the good news!
