Israel Is at War: Day Three

If you would like to help Israel during this time, please click on this link and select “War Time Help.” We will send your donation in its entirety to Israeli ministries in the hardest-hit areas.

Donation Report:

So far, we have received $1227 in donations and have sent the funds to congregations in S’derot (one mile from Gaza) and Ashdod (23 miles from Gaza).

As soon as we receive your donation, we will get it into the hands of those in need.

Here is the latest:

  • Fighting is now happening on Israel’s northern border with Lebanon; Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, is taking responsibility for the attacks.
  • The fighting along the southern border with Gaza is intensifying.
  • More than 900 Israelis have been killed.
  • More than 500 Palestinians have been killed.
  • Thousands have been wounded.
  • At least 100 hostages are being held in Gaza.

The news will cover the political aspects of the war. We must remember that there is also a spiritual aspect to the war.

Here is how you can pray:

  • For the salvation of all Israel (Rom. 10:1)
  • For the salvation of the Palestinians (1 Tim. 2:1-6)
  • For the hostages who are held captive in Gaza: pray for divine protection and miraculous release.
  • For the plans of Israel’s attackers to be confused and brought to nothing (Ps. 33:10)
  • For the hand of God to protect the people of the area (Ps. 127:1)
  • For the believers to be strengthened and positioned to assist those in need and minister to them (Eph. 6:19)

For reflection:

“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.”
Matthew 24:12

We need to be sure we do not allow our love to grow cold because of the increase of wickedness. The Lord does not delight in the perishing of the wicked (Ez. 33:11). When I look at the hateful words spoken against the Palestinians, I am reminded that Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

As you pray for Israel, please also pay for the Palestinian people. Pray for the Christians in Gaza who are suffering. Pray for those who are lost to come to know Jesus as Lord and Messiah. Peace will never happen in the land until all are united in Yeshua.

Thank you for praying and for being watchmen on the wall.
