How You Should Pray for Israel bookcover

“I want to pray for Israel, but I’m not sure how.”

Once a friend said that to me, and I realized that she may not be alone.  She realized that she should pray for Israel, as the Bible clearly gives many exhortations to do so.

While she knew that she should, she wasn’t really sure exactly how.

I wondered how many people might feel the same way she did.  How many people would pray for Israel if they simply knew how to do so.

I responded to my friend that day with a bullet point list of a few ways to pray for Israel with scriptures to go along with each point.

That short exchange with my friend inspired me to make a more comprehensive quick start guide available to anyone who wants to know how they should pray for Israel.

How You should Pray for Israel is a short booklet that will help get anyone started with praying for Israel.

This booklet contains four brief sections that each have a different prayer target for Israel.  A brief description of why we pray for that area follows the scriptural foundation that leads us to pray for that target.  Each section ends with a prayer for Israel guided by the Scriptures.

The four sections include:

  • Pray for peace and security
  • Pray for the people and the leadership
  • Pray for the salvation of Israel
  • Pray for the believers
