For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem. For they were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings.
Romans 15:26-27

In 2023, Lifting up Zion did more to support Messianic Jewish ministries than ever before. Because of your faithful support, we:

  • Received $30,315.69 in donations
  • Sent $27,213.00 to ministries in Israel
  • Sent $991.24 to U.S. based Messianic ministries
  • Kept our administrative and promotional expenses under our 15% of income goal

In addition, Lifting up Zion was represented at more events in 2023 than ever before. We were represented at 24 events, including:

  • Six tabling events
  • Twelve preaching events
  • Five prayer calls
  • One Messianic conference

We also launched a brand new social media effort. We created six teaching videos that are available on Facebook and YouTube.

Thank you for your partnership in 2023. We are looking forward to a fruitful 2024.

As I look forward this year, my heart is stirring to see our impact increase. Here are some specific areas I am praying for an impact.

Continued support for Israel during the war

While my hope and prayer is that the war between Hamas and Israel will end speedily, I want Lifting up Zion to be prepared to support Messianic ministries should it continue. Thousands of Israelis are displaced from their homes. Messianic ministries are serving them by providing food and housing. They are also ministering to soldiers who are putting their lives on the line. While media interest has waned, the nation’s needs have not.

Expanding our media footprint

In 2023, we launched our social media effort in creating teaching videos. Last year, we created six videos, this year I want to create twelve to expand our media footprint. The cost to do that is $900.

Messiah Conference 2024

The Messianic Jewish Alliance of America hosts an annual international gathering of Messianic Jews called Messiah Conference. I am praying for the Lord to provide so that Lifting up Zion can meet more Messianic Jews and learn about their needs. The total cost to attend this conference is $1,750.

More events

Last year we were represented at 24 events (an average of two per month). In 2024, I would like to see our representation increase to an average of three per month. Would you pray for the Lord to open doors?

More prayer and financial partners

Finally, as with any ministry, our footprint increases as our partners increase. I pray that as Lifting up Zion is represented in more places, the Lord will stir the hearts of people to partner with us by praying for Israel’s salvation and in blessing the Messianic Jewish community financially. Would you agree with me in prayer for this?

If any one of these projects speak to your heart, there is an option to contribute to them online at www.liftingupzion.org or by designating your check donation. Thank you for your continued support.
